LONDON: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain Sunday regretted that MQM, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Awami National Party (ANP) were being exposed to brazen acts of terrorism, asking as to what was keeping the law enforcement institutions from taking notice.
“The parties which are allowed to freely hold public meetings are the ones that can be labeled as ‘mini-Taliban’ parties,” he snapped while addressing the workers and office bearers of MQM from lower Punjab.
He said these ‘mini-Taliban’ parties want to set even whatever is left of the Pakistan on a course of devastation, asking where were the Election Commission of Pakistan, army, and other security institutions.
Altaf Hussain asked the people of Pakistan to identify friends from foes of the country. “Will the people cast their vote in favor of parties that support terrorist acts?” he asked, adding ‘we will continue to struggle till we have air in our lungs’.
