According to police, Naveedur Rehmaan from Swabi, court-married Kainaat and settled in Multan along with his brother Waleed, a month earlier.
Afsar Khan, uncle of Naveedur Rehmaan, was against this marriage. Afsar visited the house of victims as a guest and allegedly murdered the couple in the jurisdiction of Muzaffarabad police station.
