KASUR: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman, Imran Khan on Monday addressed a rally in Kasur as part of his election campaign, criticizing his political opponents, especially the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz and pledging greater reforms after coming into power.
Addressing the large public meeting, the PTI chief said that roads, bridges, bullet trains and buses cannot build a nation instead the task could be achieved through spending money on people’s education that enables them to build the infrastructure.
He said that nation could be formed through dispensation of justice. He said that billions of rupees were stashed in foreign countries by Asif Ali Zardari. He said that PML-N failed to hold local body election.
Khan vowed that his party would eliminate dual system of education in the country besides spending five-fold more funds on education. He said the PTI would bring corrupt politicians to justice.
Khan requested the people of Kasur to come out on May 11 and vote for his Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf to bring about a change in Pakistan, which has been facing energy and other huge crises.
He said that turns of Zardari and Nawaz Sharif in power had come to an end and the PTI would celebrate its victory on May 11 evening.
