KHANEWAL/SAHIWAL: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz chief Nawaz Sharif said on Monday that prolonged power outages have made people’s life miserable and pledged that he would rid the masses of this agony.
Addressing a rally here, the former prime minister vowed that he would launch a bullet train service from Karachi to Peshawar. “I am unable to see Pakistan People’s Party anywhere, where is PPP, Zardari Sahib you come out of presidency for competition,” he said and added that there was no load shedding, corruption and bloodshed during his stint.
Nawaz Sharid said that he would provide the youth with loans so that they could start their own business.
He warned the people to avoid making any wrong decision on May 11 as it could put the country on backtrack.
Moreover, Nawaz Sharif addressed another large public gathering in Sahiwal. He said that he had played cricket but also tested atom bomb and built motorway. “I have not come here for my personal benefit but for the sake of Pakistan,” he added.
The PML-N president also promised to Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) and Pakistan Railways which have been struggling in recent years.
