Hyderabad: three alleged TTP terrorists arrested
HYDERABAD: Police and law enforcement agencies arrested three alleged terrorists of proscribed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) during an action in Hyderabad, Geo News reported.

Police claimed to have foiled the terror bid prior to forthcoming elections, seizing 30 kilograms of explosives and suicide jackets from accused possession. The explosive material was planted in three blocks of 10 kg each.

According to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Saqib Ismail Memon, accused have confessed to killing Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) candidate for PS-47 Fakhr-ul-Islam on May 11 besides other heinous crimes.

On a tip-off, police and security personnel conducted raid at a house in Zeel Pak colony area of Hyderabad and arrested TTP terrorists.

Police sources told that during initial interrogation, the accused have also confessed to target killings of three MQM workers in the sector office SITE area and attacking the police mobile outside central jail Hyderabad.
