KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain on Wednesday said that terrorists were attacking his party offices and workers, demanding an immediate arrest of criminals who attacked party workers in Hyderabad, Geo News reported.
Addressing public gatherings in Mirpur Khas, Sanghar, Naseerabad and Mansehra, Hussain said that participation of few parties couldn’t be considered free and fair elections. He said that the Election Commission of Pakistan had failed in providing all the political parties level playing field for the upcoming general election.
Mr.Hussain further said that law and order situation of the country was getting bad to worse with certain parties being attacked.
The MQM chief noted that he founded the All Pakistan Muttahida Students Organization (APMSO) (student wing of the MQM) when he was only 23 years old, adding that his party awarded tickets on merit.
Altaf Hussain added that MQM wanted to abolish the feudal system from Pakistan. MQM chief urged the people to vote for his party for the betterment of the country.
