ISLAMABAD: Ahmed Raza Kasuri, counsel for Pervez Musharraf, has concluded his argument before a Supreme Court bench hearing identical petitions seeking trial of the former military ruler.
The counsel read out Musharraf’s written statement before the bench, stating that any judge affected by his November 3 decision of declaring state of emergency could not hear his case.
Kasuri said that apex court order of July 31 2009 was issued for the future and trial of his client would be discriminatory.
He said that lawyers, who took part in lawyers movement for the restoration of judges had now become judges and could not hear his case.
