The explosion was reported o have struck the ANP election camp located in Faqir Chowk area of Peshawar.
Sources said the man sustained injuries in the blast was rushed to hospital.
The nature of the explosive device used, the scale of damage it caused, and further casualties, if any, remains to be reported.
