ISLAMABAD: Jamiat Ulma-e-Islam-Fazal (JUI-F) chief, Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman Friday rejected the election results alleging the ballot papers used by his voters were found dumped in drains, garbage, and fields, Geo News reported.
Talking to media men after calling on US Ambassador to Pakistan, Richard Olson, JUI-F chief said, "A large number of votes stamped on "Book", JUI-F's electoral symbol, never made the final tally because sold-out polling staff wasted them."
He said it was shocking to know that JUI-F lost those seats the next morning, where it were leading on the night of May 11.
“JUI-F has been made a victim of election rigging”, said he.
Earlier, according to sources, Richard Olson felicitated Fazal-ur-Rehman on JUI-F’s victory in general elections.
Olson also said that America would remain impartial with regard to the formation of new government in Pakistan.
