Police sources said that unknown armed motorcyclists hurled a hand grenade at a shop located near a gasoline service station on Sariab road, leaving the owner of the shop seriously injured.
The wounded succumbed to his injuries on the way to hospital.
The assailants managed to escape from the scene.
