LAHORE: An announced electricity load shedding for up to 18 hours continued in the provincial capital, causing shortage of water which has made lives of people miserable.
The citizens of Lahore including women and children took to the streets in Mustafa Town area late on Sunday night against the water shortage.
Residents of Mustafa Town protested against the lack of drinking water supply in the area. The protesters complained that they are short of drinking water while Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) officials didn't listen to them.
A WASA official said that they don't have generators due to which water couldn't be supplied during power outages.
