MQM for suo moto notice over killing, abduction of workers

KARACHI: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) on Friday staged a protest demonstration over extrajudicial murders and arrest of its activists, Geo News reported.

A large number of people including the families and heirs of party’s missing and slain workers attended the protest demonstration outside the Sindh High Court.

Addressing protestors, MQM’s senior leader Haider Abbas Rizvi demanded strict action against the people who tortured his party workers.

The MQM called on authorities concerned to stop what it said kidnapping of its workers. It also demanded of the and also demanded of the judiciary to take suo moto notice.
