STP falls apart as seven central leaders resign
HYDERABAD: Sindh Taraqi Pasand Party (STP) has fallen apart as seven central leaders including senior office bearers have announced their resignation en block on Monday here, Geo News reported.

Among those who resigned are: STP senior Vice Chairman, Haider Shahani, Deputy general Secretary Hoat Khan, Finance secretary Kader Channa, STP media spokesman, Muzaffar Kalhoro, central leader, Nand Lalmani, Gulzar Somroo, and Sarang Unar.

Talking to Geo News here, Haider Shahani blamed STP Chairman, Qadir Magsi’s flawed policies that led to the party’s defeat in May 11 general elections. He said that although opinions were taken in the party meetings, but Qadir Magsi ignoring majority opinion used to impose his personal decisions.

Haider Shahani further said that a five-member committee has been constituted, which after consultations would announce future strategy of the split group in next 15 days.
