ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader has resigned as opposition leader of Senate, while Pakistan Peoples' Party's (PPP) leader Farooq H. Naek resigned as leader of the house, Geo News reported.
According to details, Mr. Dar has sent his resignation to Chairman Senate, stating that he was resigning from the slot as his party emerged as the leading party in National Assembly.
The caretaker Prime Minister Mir Hazar Khan Khoso had appointed Farooq H. Naek as leader of the house in Senate.
The opposition leader and leader of the house in Senate would be elected after the formation of federal government.
