QUETTA: The people of Quetta and government servants have rejected the federal budget 2013-14, while the traders termed it positive, Geo News reported Wednesday.
Rejecting the federal budget 2013, the people of Quetta has said that no relief was given in the budget for common man and government servants, while no measures were taken to reduce inflation.
The people were expecting to get increase of 25 percent in government servants’ salaries because the Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) had increased it to 20 percent.
Terming the federal budget positive, the traders of Quetta declared it traders-friendly, welcoming the decision of making the province economy zone by using Gwader port.
The budget has two mega projects for Balochistan such as linking Gwader port with Central Asia, China and Ratu Dero.
