QUETTA: Sardar Bahadur Khan University has been closed for an indefinite period following Saturday’s bomb attack on one of the university’s buses, killing 14 female students and injuring 19 others.
The university announced three-days of mourning, however, it will now remain closed for an indefinite period.
The Balochistan Bar Council has also announced boycott of court proceedings across the province over the Quetta tragedy. A day of mourning will also be observed in the courts over the loss of precious lives.
Meanwhile, the banned Lashkar-e-Jhangvi (LeJ) has claimed responsibility for the attacks in Quetta, claiming it was one of their female suicide bombers who blew up the bus carrying the students.
