KP CM denounces Shergarh suicide attack

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister (CM) Pervez Khatak has strongly condemned the suicide attack during funeral prayer, terming the assault as a conspiracy to destabilize the peace efforts, Geo News reported Tuesday.

According to a statement issued here, the CM declared the terrorist attack as cowardly act and said that these types of acts cannot discourage the government. He further claimed that they were encouraged and the whole nation was united against the terrorism.

Khatak directed the hospital administration to provide best possible treatment and facilities to the injured of the deadly attack.
