Najam Sethi takes charge of PCB

LAHORE: Newly appointed acting Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board, Najam Sethi has taken charge of his office at the PCB headquarters.

He was given briefing on different issues by the selectors and is likely to announce squad for West Indies tour.

Sources said that Shoib Malik, Kamran Akmal and Imran Farhat would be dropped from the team while Ahmed Shehzad, Umar Akmal, Shahid Afridi, Haris Shoail, Adnan Akmal and Muhammad Rizwan area expected to be included in the squad.

Sethi was appointed acting PCB chief on Sunday after the prime minister gave approval in this regard.
