LAHORE: Punjab senior Minister Rana Sanaullah has said that peace in Karachi was not only vital for the Karachiites but for the entire country, Geo News reported.
Talking to newsmen outside Punjab Assembly on Wednesday, Sanaullah said the Sindh government should overcome terrorism in the province and if it needs help then it should set a side political interests and sit with the federal government.
Responding on Imran Farooq murder case, Rana Sanaullah said that they should wait for Scotland Yard’s investigation, adding that Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) supremo Altaf Hussain was looking anxious, however, he (Sanaullah) did not know the reason.
To another question, Sanaullah said that the action against former president, General (retd) Pervez Musharraf was constitutional and lawful obligation.
He further said that loadshedding would be reduced in 60 days, adding that the government had given the same time period for eliminating the circular debt.
