MULTAN: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman on Monday called on Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader and former prime minister Yousuf Raza Gilani and expressed solidarity with him on abduction of his son, Ali Haider Gilani, Geo News reported.
During the meeting, held at Gilani House Multan, Fazl exchanged views on the abduction of Ali Haider Gilani with the former prime minister.
Gilani informed the JUI-F chief that no one had accepted responsibility of Haider’s kidnapping and contacted them yet.
Fazl-ur-Rehman was of view that he would raise the issue of the recovery of Gilani’s son at every forum. ‘Terrorism is a national issue and there is need of policy to tackle this menace’, he said.
