JSQM wraps up sit-in on National Highway

HYDERABAD: The sit-in staged by the Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz (JSQM) against water shortage at Hyderabad bypass has finally concluded Tuesday morning, Geo News reported.

The activists of JSQM started demonstration on Monday afternoon at 2:30 pm at Hatri bypass on the National Highway and staged a sit-in. Due to the protest, traffic was blocked and long queues of vehicles were witnessed, causing immense difficulties to the commuters.

While talking to the media yesterday, JSQM senior vice-chairman Dr Niaz Kalani told that the masses in Sindh are suffering due to the acute shortage of water.

After the JSQM sit-in was concluded, traffic resumed on National Highway, relieving the common passengers and drivers of cargo vehicles.
