ISLAMABAD: Rawalpindi Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Tuesday, while hearing the Benazir Bhutto murder case, was told that former President General (retired) Pervez Musharraf could not be produced for security reason, while the court ordered for his production on the next hearing, Geo News reported.
FIA prosecutor Chaudhry Azhar despite court order did not appear before the court today.
During the hearing police report relating to production of Pervez Musharraf in the court was submitted. The report said that the accused could not be produced for lack of security arrangements.
The lawyer of Pervez Musharraf said that an appeal for exemption of Pervez Musharraf’s presence today in the court has been made.
Later, the court ordering for Pervez Musharraf’s production on next hearing adjourned until July 9, 2013.
