FIA action in Musharraf treason case underway: Ch Nisar

ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister Chaudary Nisar Ali Khan has said the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) is taking action against Pervaiz Musharaf under Article 6 of the Constitution, Geo News reported.

Talking to reporters in Islamabad, the Interior Minister said he would keep the media informed about any progress made in this regard.

He said that Altaf Hussain’s matter was being investigated in London and the Pakistan government is being kept updated on the issue, however, the British government has not approached Pakistan for assistance.

Commenting on drone attacks, Chaudhry Nisar said that these strikes are counter-productive.
