Karachi: Six abducted persons released in Malir

KARACHI: The abductors leaving behind the six abducted persons from Malir cattle market took their heels fearing Rangers’ raid on Monday here, Geo News reported.

Since the abducted persons were severely tortured during detention, all of them were shifted to the hospital.

It may be recalled that six young men Naveed, Asif, Israr, Bilal, Rab Nawaz and Javed were abducted Sunday evening from the Malir cattle market, where they had gone to buy cattle, by about 15 abductors, who took them to a school at Malir Memon Goth and severely tortured them.

Meanwhile, the accused received information about impending Rangers’ raid that sent them running away in panic leaving behind the abductees, but snatching away their money, mobiles, motorbikes and the cattle.

Thereafter, the abductees somehow managed to reach the nearby Sindh Government Hospital, where after receiving first aid, they were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.
