ISLAMABAD: Eminent lawyer and Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid-e-Azam (PML-Q) leader, S M Zafar on Thursday urged the government to make Abbottabad commission report public as it was in the national interest.
He said that if the government considered making the report public against Pakistan’s interest, it should clear the issue through its spokesman.
In a statement, S M Zafar said that analysts, politicians and other people were discussing the recently disclosed Abottabad commission report, which the probe body said to be unauthentic, adding that government should issue the original report to relieve the people from mental stress.
He further said that issuing the original report of Abbotabad commission was in the country’s largest interest. Zafar said that the government should issue the remaining part of the report.
