ISLAMABAD: Justice Nasir-ul-Mulk of the Supreme Court has excused himself from hearing the case pertaining to Pervez Musharraf’s bail suspension in judges’ detention case on Monday, Geo News reported.

A three-judge bench of the Supreme Court headed by Justice Nasir-ul-Mulk was due to hear Musharraf’s bail suspension case today when he separated himself from the bench hearing the petition.

The court, then, adjourned the hearing of the case for an indefinite period.

The petitioner Aslam Ghumman Advocate had challenged the high court order of disposing off the treason charges and allowing bail to General (retd) Pervez Musharraf in the judges’ detention case.

Earlier, Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammed Chaudhry had also excused himself from hearing Pervez Musharraf’s bail-suspension case, and instructed that the case be forwarded to another judge.
