Malik meets MQM’s coordination committee in London

LONDON: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) senior leader Rehman Malik has met with the Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) Coordination Committee here on Friday and discussed political situation prevailing in the country.

During the meeting, Rehman Malik conveyed the President Asif Ali Zardari’s message of goodwill to MQM supremo Altaf Hussain.

The PPP leader once again invited the MQM leadership to join the provincial government in Sindh. Malik said that there is a need to work together for maintaining peace and stability in the province.

On the occasion, MQM’s Deputy Convener Nadeem Nusrat said that both the parties should continue to cooperate with each other for the stability of democracy.

The leaders of both the parties also agreed over reviewing of presidential elections schedule.
