Death in custody: Police lodge case against Rangers officials

KARACHI: Police on Saturday booked Rangers officials in a murder case of a youth who was allegedly killed in the custody of paramilitary force after being subjected to torture.

Relatives of the deceased and other residents of Sikandar Goth had protested against the police and attacked the police station for not registering FIR.

The protesters also called for registration of FIR against police officials.

Father of the deceased said his son Bilal was subjected to severe torture by Rangers for 12 hours. He said his son was shifted to Sachal Police Station after torture.
