LAHORE: Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar reached at Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) headquarter in Mansoora to meet Ameer JI Syed Munawar Hassan on Wednesday, Geo News reported.
After the meeting, Ameer JI Munawar Hassan told the media that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has requested the JI to support their presidential candidate, however, the party will decide about it after consulting with the other members.
Munawar Hassan further told that Karachi’s law and order situation was also discussed during the meeting. He said that it is a serious matter and any hasty decision can worsen the situation.
At the occasion, Chaudhry Nisar said that Karachi’s issue cannot be solved in a single meeting, and that consultations will be held with other political parties as well.
