Sukkur attack leaves 12 feet wide, 6 feet deep crater: SSP CID

KARACHI: SSP CID Raja Umar Khattab while informing about the details of terrorists attack at ISI headquarters in Sukkur said that the militants hurled hand grenades while entering the compound.

The SSP said that the attack was well organized in which a mini truck was used to carry out explosion. He said that the blast left 12 feet wide and 6 feet deep crater.

Khattab further said four terrorists carried out the attack. At first, the explosive-laden mini truck was ripped through the building after which three suicide bombers entered the compound.

He said three militants were killed in a shootout with security forces. Suicide jackets of two attackers detonated during the clash while one more jacket of third assaulter remained unexploded.
