Benazir murder case: Musharraf's indictment on August 6

RAWALPINDI: Former President, General (retd) Pervez Musharraf will be indicted in the murder case of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto on August 6.

Musharraf appeared before the anti-terrorism Court (ATC) here on Tuesday and was provided a copy of the case and after his signature a date was fixed for the indictment. The ATC directed Musharraf to appear before it during the next hearing.

The ATC also reinstated the former president’s frozen bank accounts and assets.

Earlier, Pervez Musharraf had filed a petition for the recovery of his assets and bank accounts in the ATC, on which the court had reserved its judgment.
