KARACHI: President-elect Mamnoon Hussain has said that he wanted to resolve law and order issue in the country particularly in Karachi.
In an exclusive interview to British BHroadcasting Cooperation after being elected as the 12th President of Pakistan, Mamnoon Hussain said that full fledged action was not taken against criminals, land-grabbers, and extortionists in the past as the political parties were backing these groups, and that this fact had been highlighted in various decisions of the Supreme Court as well.
Mamnoon further said whenever he thinks of resolving law and order issue, Karachi comes first in his mind.
He added that he also wanted to play his due role to resolve the issues, if ever emerge among the provinces.
