FIA summons former PM Shaukat Aziz in high treason case

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Wednesday issued summons for former prime minister Shaukat Aziz to appear on January 04th 2016 in connection with the high treason case.

FIA sources confirmed that Shaukat Aziz has been summoned to record his statement in the case. Head of the FIA’s joint investigation team Wajid Zia had written a letter to the former premier in this regard.

They added that Shaukat Aziz has confirmed to Director FIA Maqsood ul Hassan that he has received the letter.
