Karachi: Ten killed in on-going violence
KARACHI: Ten persons including two dacoits and a political party worker were killed in various firing and violent incidents across the metropolis after midnight, Geo News reported Tuesday.

According to the rescue sources, the residents of a house killed two armed robbers when they tried to enter their house in Shah Faisal Town area of Karachi, Geo News reported Tuesday.

Details have it that six dacoits sneak into a house in Green Town area of Shah Faisal Town early Tuesday morning when the residents retaliated and opened fire on them.

As a result of firing, two robbers were killed on the spot and another got injured while three others sprayed bullets and fled from the scene. Two motorcycles and three pistols were seized from the dead robbers’ possession.

A man was killed when armed attackers opened fire in Korangi Town area, who was later identified as Azmat. Another man was also killed in Gulshan-e-Bahar area of Orangi Town.

Unknown assailants opened fire and killed a man in Martin Quarters area late at night. The deceased was identified as Faisal Qadri, who was the member of Sunni Tehreek, the spokesman told.

In another horrific incident of violence, rescue sources recovered three dead bodies bearing bullet wounds from Malir River.

Also, SSP Central Amir Farooqi told that unidentified attackers opened fire on a vehicle in North Nazimabad area and injured a man who later succumbed to injuries today morning.

It is pertinent to mention here that police also recovered two bodies said to be of missing persons from Surjani Town area of Karachi today morning.

Also, a security guard committed suicide in 13-D area of Gulshan-e-Iqbal.
