Altaf slams Indian army aggressions on LoC, condoles Captain’s martyrdom

LONDON: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Quaid Altaf Hussain Wednesday strongly condemned the Indian army unprovoked firings on the Line of Control (LoC) that martyred Pak Army Captain Sarfaraz and injured one soldier.

In a statement issued here, Altaf Hussain expressed his grief and sorrow over the martyrdom of the Pak Army Captain Sarfaraz. He said that the Indian army has been committing blatant violations of the ceasefire at LoC and martyring Pakistani officers and soldiers by unprovoked mortar firing and shelling across the border.

Strongly condemning Indian army’s persistent aggression on LoC, Altaf Hussain appealed to the Indian Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh to halt Indian army’s intrusion and unprovoked firing across the LoC.

MQM Quaid condoling the martyrdom of Captain Sarfaraz expressed his heartfelt sympathy with the bereaved family and prayed for an early recovery of the injured soldiers.
