ISLAMABAD: An intelligence agency has alerted that Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has hatched a plot to attack Gen (retd) Pervez Musharraf when he is brought out to appear before a court.
The proscribed TTP would be using three Uzbeks to carry out the attack, sources told Geo News correspondent Abid Malik.
According to a report presented to the Ministry of Interior by the aforementioned intelligence agency, planning has been made to target Pervez Musharraf when he appears before a court during proceedings in Akbar Bugti murder case in Islamabad or Quetta.
Services of three Uzbeks will be employed for executing the attack on Pervez Musharraf. A vehicle and some other men may also be used to launch the attack.
Preparations have also been made to target Musharraf inside the court, sources said.
