ISLAMABAD: The Chief Justice of Pakistan, Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry Saturday dubbed as unfair the allegations of keeping cases advertently pending, Geo News reported.
“The government is neither increasing the number of judges nor resolving the issue of funds,” the CJP regretted while presiding over separate meetings of Judicial Commission of Pakistan and National Judicial Policy Committee here at the Supreme Court.
The meeting of Judicial Commission deliberated over the matters pertaining to the Parliamentary Committee’s proposed amendments in rules and regulations of the Commission for judges appointment.
