Ghotki: Two abductees recovered; five including woman, cop held

GHOTKI: Police on Friday carried out raid here on Friday, recovering two youth abductees while arresting five alleged kidnapers including a Karachi policeman and a woman.

According to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Islam Shaikh, two young abductees, who had been kidnapped from Qadirpur Link road three weeks ago, were recovered from Thakaryatay area of Pannu Aqil, adding that a woman among five kidnappers were also arrested.

Shaikh revealed that an Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Razzaq Billo of Korangi police station in Karachi was also among the accused.

The SSP said that the kidnapping for ransom group was comprised of twelve members. Raids are being conducted to arrest remaining seven accused, he added.
