ABBOTTABAD: Six policemen including a superintendent were injured in exchange of fire with alleged terrorists in Abbottabad in the wee hours of Thursday.
According to the police, it raided the compound of militants in Mangal area of Abbottabad after which the alleged terrorists opened fire and injured six policemen.
The injured included Superintendent of Police (SP) Faisal Bakhtiar, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Sub-Inspector Qayum, Constable Shahid and two personnel of secret agencies.
The wounded personnel were rushed to the hospital while the operation against terrorists is in progress, police said.
