QUETTA: The strike of petrol station owners continued in the city for the fourth consecutive day. The strike call which was given by the Balochistan Petroleum Association has led to immense difficulties for the city’s residents.
There is a rush of motorists at illegal stations across the city. Petrol at these stations is being sold at Rs150-Rs200 per litre and residents of the city have no alternative but to pay these sky-high prices.
The strike is in protest to local customs officials sealing two petrol stations accused of selling smuggled petrol.
