Altaf Hussain appeals to Taliban to renounce violence
LONDON: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussan has appealed to Pakistani Taliban to stop attacking army, citizens and renounce other violent activities including bomb blasts to achieve peace and accept government’s offer for negotiations.

During a lecture at the MQM’s International Secretariat on Saturday, Hussain said that some people were opposing the idea of holding talks with the Taliban while others were supporting it.

He said the impact of talks is not just limited to the government or Taliban, it has spilled out of Pakistan and its neighboring countries, spreading far and across.
