PESHAWAR: An electricity tower has been blown up with explosive material on Charsadda road, while bomb disposal squad defused three improvised explosive devices (IEDs) at the site of the incident.
According to police, miscreants planted four IEDs near huge electricity towers in Garhi Sohbat Khan, suburban area of Peshawar, of which one bomb exploded after which police and bomb disposal squad were called out.
The squad inspected the site of the incident and found remaining three IEDs which were later defused.
The bomb disposal unit said that three to four kilograms of explosive material was used in the bombs.
