Pervez Rashid brushes aside reports on top military appointments

ISLAMABAD: Brushing aside media reports about top appointments in the Pakistan Army, Federal Information Minister Pervez Rashid said on Sunday that decision was yet to be made in this regard as consultations were still underway.

“There is no truth in news being published about appointments of military officers,” he said while commenting on speculations regarding inductions of Chief of the Army Staff and the Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee.

To a question, he said that cases pertaining to Swiss accounts would be decided by the courts.
