Police said that one person was killed and another injured in firing at Pir Mohammad Goth in Manghopir area. The deceased was the head of a seminary, while the injured young man was his student.
The body of the deceased and the injured student were shifted to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.
Police have started an investigation to find out the motive behind the firing and hunting for the culprit.
