HYDERABAD: Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Prisons Abdul Majeed said on Saturday that all the prisons including Hyderabad jail are at risk of terror attacks, Geo News reported.
While addressing from the passing out ceremony of 142 recruits at Nara Jail, DIG Abdul Majeed said that all the prisons are at high risk. He told that the attack on Khyber Pakhtunkhwa jail was carried out by the Ansar Aseeran outfit and they demand release of their held mates.
DIG Prisons further said that the administration’s job is to run the jail affairs and it is not responsible for the external attack.
