ISLAMABAD: An accountability court has reissued notice to the former president Asif Ali Zardari in corruption references against him.
The accountability court's Judge Muhammad Bashir resumed the hearing of references against the former president. The court had issued notices to Asif Ali Zardari and NAB, however, no representation from both the sides were witnessed in the court.
Chairman NAB took notice of the absence of the prosecutor during the hearing and directed to follow court orders after which NAB prosecutor reached the court and informed that the former president is out of country due to which issued notice could not be followed.

The court had reopened five reference of corruption against the former president Zardari. The corruption references included Ursus tractors, Cotecna-SGS, polo ground, ARY Gold and assets references.
