According to the sources, police acted on a tip off about the presence of dacoits in Kacha area of Ahmed Pur Sial in Jhang. During an encounter with the attackers, dacoit named Latif Khosa was killed while a pistol and Kalashnikov were also seized from his possession.
Culprit Latif Khosa was the member of Chotu Gang.
