Former UC nazim among five gunned down in Karachi

KARACHI: Five people including former UC nazim were killed in firing incidents in different areas of Karachi on Friday, Geo News reported.

Police said unidentified armed men shot dead former UC nazim Ikram Siddiqui near Muhajir chowk in Orangi town.

According to SP Orangi town, the deceased belong to a political party.

Two men identified as Muhammad Afzal and Abdul Qadir were killed in firing near Lee Market.

SP City Faisal Bashir said Afzal and Qadir were going on motorcycle when they were gunned down.

Meanwhile, a man was killed in firing near Abdullah college in North Nazimabad. The deceased was identified as Tahir Hussain.

In another incident, one person was killed in sector L in Orangi town.
