KARACHI: An alleged terrorist belonging to an outlawed outfit was killed in an encounter with Rangers here on Sunday.
According to sources, following credible intelligence reports, Rangers personnel busted into a house located in Manghopir in search of suspected terrorists.
The information proved right when the outlaws opened fire on paramilitary troops, who retaliated with equal force.
After a long exchange of fire, Rangers succeeded in killing the militant who had refused to surrender.
Later a thorough search of the building led to the recovery of firearms and a hand grenade.
