Karachi violence claims 13 lives after few days of peace
KARACHI: After few days of peace in the port city, 13 people become target of blind bullets of target killers on Tuesday, Geo News reported.

According to reports, two activists of Ahl-e-Sunnat Wal Jamat (ASWJ) were shot dead at a hotel in Korangi Industrial Area. The deceased were identified Riaz and Ramzan.

Two students Jamia Binoria were shot and injured at Gurumandir area. One of them, identified as Zia-ur-Rehman, succumbed to injuries.

Following the killing of student, the seminary students and Ulema, carrying body of the victim, staged protest demonstration at Gurumandir. They ended their protest after Karachi police chief assurance.

In separate incidents, four people were killed in Baldia town, Saddar, Defence Phase-1 and Akhtar colony.

Bodies of men identified as Razaq and Hasnain were found from Nasir colony and Itehad town, in Baldia town respectively.

Another man Nadeem was shot dead in Qasba colony.

Separately, two men whose identity could not be ascertained were gunned down in Lyari and Lines areas.
